For over two decades, FOUNDRĒ has been in the music scene in some form or another. In 2006, FOUNDRĒ released their first full length, world-wide album, DROSS. The DROSS lineup was comprised of Bob Deal on lead vocals and guitar, Mike Z bass, and Brian Kaplan on drums. Guest members on the album included former/future FOUNDRĒ members, Mike Dermont, Nick Barth, Matt Tesch and Phil 13. Phil 13 would later take over the Bass duties from Mike Z as he move into the second guitar slot and a secondary lead vocal slot would be filled by Junior D. Then they would go through quite a few drummers before finally hiring DK. This would be the touring lineup for FOUNDRĒ leading up to the release of Dross and for some years following the release.
FOUNDRĒ would see some lineup changes coming into the end of the first decade of the 2000's until the hiatus that began sometime in 2010.
In 2012, Bob Deal and Mike Z coordinated a meeting between the members of the DROSS lineup that included DK and Phil 13. At that meeting they discussed possible ways to reunite the band but there was still unresolved issues and time restrictions that ultimately put the reunion off.
Over the next few years, multiple meetings and discussions ensued. The group agreed that it was the right time to get together and move toward the recording of the next album.
Finally in 2018 the guys met up to test run an audition on some of the new songs and things...went very well!
Today FOUNDRĒ are finally working on the sophomore, as of yet, untitled album.
